3 days turned into 6 days

We left David City on 8/21/09 and went to O'Neill for the weekend for Uncle Mike's benefit we stopped in Orchard to see grandma and grandpa Maxwell and take some pictures. Grandma Maxwell has cancer of the brain found out 8/01/09 she knew the kids and talked to them, her speak is a little slow but she knew what was going on. We were there for about an hour, then they went to go see their dad for about 20 minutes. On Saturday we went to Uncle Mike's bake sale and then we went to the Steels they live in Atkinson, she took the pictures for me of the kids and some family pictures (they follow below). Thank you very much Mandi. We came back into O'Neill for the dance. And Robert text me and told me that they were putting grandma Maxwell back into the hospital and they did not think she would make it through the night. On Sunday morning Robert text me and told me to get the kids up to the hospital so they could see her. Grandma Maxwell passed away on 8/23/09 at 11:25am, age 75 and would of been married for 48 years in January.
Then on Monday evening Pooh started to throw up and she did not stop until Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Smiley started to throw up Tuesday morning at 7:00am and at 6:00pm he asked to go to the ER for an IV. so we were there from 6:30pm until 10:30pm. Wednesday was a quite day.
Thursday 8/27/09 was the funeral the burial was at 10:00am just for the family. The other 3 children in the picture are there cousin and the girl without the hat is the soon to be step sister.
We made it back to David City by 4pm so Mr Milky could go to his eye dr appointment his eye have not changed that much so they said to hold off on the glass. When we got back to the Apartment they found along with there friend the big snake and this baby sick. So that was our week that we spent in O'Neill. On Thursday night all kids were in bed and asleep by 8:00pm. Pooh woke up at 10:30pm throwing up again so we were up all night. Friday morning Mr. Milkey woke up at 7:00am screaming "MY EAR, ME EAR" I just thought he lied on it wrong and then I saw brown stuff coming from his ear called the DR got them both in do not not what was wrong with Pooh they gave her medicine to keep her tommy claim and Mr. Milkey medicine cause his ear was so bad they did not know if it was swimmers ear, inner ear, or outer ear. So that is how my week finished out.

Family Pictures

My Baby went to School

Cassandra started preschool today August 17th, 2009. She goes from 8:15am to 11:30am. When she got up this morning she said that she was not going to go that she was going to stay home with me. When the boys left for school she could not get her stuff fast enough and kept saying come on mom lets go. When we got to school she told me not to leave that I needed to stay.

When she saw the bird everything was ok so I left. When I went to get her she told me "MOM you left me but that is ok cause you came back. I asked her if she had fun and she said "YES" I asked her if she was going to go back she said " why not mom it was fun".

First day of school for boys

First day of school for the boys was August 12th, 2009 they go form 8:15am to 3:30pm. Mr. Smiley in his room, he said he had a great first day he only has 10 kids in his room. He has an older lady for his teacher a more grandmotherly type. He says he dose not like her put I told him he has not given it time.
Mr Milky standing by his desk, he said he had a great first day but way all the paper work. And why in art do you have to do tear bears, how can they call that art. Milky also has 12 kids in his class. I put them in different rooms again this year. Milky's teacher seams really nice and he likes her. Each class last year had 22 kids in them.

Fun at Uncle Mike's and Aunt Kasey

On Sunday August 9th, 2009 we went to Uncle Mike's and Aunt Kasey's to see them and uncle Adam and Aunt Janna and all the kids. Uncle Mike wanted to take the kids out on the boat to go fishing David was the first one out on the boat with uncle Mike and he caught a couple of fish. They let them go.
Malcolm went out next when they came back in Malcolm had to look down the mouth of one and he said he saw a twig he that, that was cool.
Cassandra did not go out on the boat but she made sure she got to hold a fish.

Boys will be Boys

Clean

Well here is the clothes nice and white again.

Mud and kids

As you can tell I got the kids a pool so they could have fun Pooh thought it was great fun she dose not remember last year.
Mr Smiley thought it fun going down the slid. But it was cold cause they just filled it with water.
And lets not forget Milky he has always been my mud man and yes his clothes were white he was to put water in the pool and then come in and change his clothes well at 6 you have a mind of your own and who cares about the laundry. But believe it or not I DID GET THE MUD OUT, I sprayed it really good with what you call "TOTALLY AWESOME" and then put them in my white load, I will post pic when they come out of the dryer

Sick Kids

Well you do not know how sick you are until you go to the ER. Well Friday night Pooh was up all night coughing and I thought it was sinus, Saturday we were at Day Camp for 6 hours. Saturday night she was up all night again, nothing I gave her helped I even did a breathing treatment. Sunday morning she would not stop the cough so I called the ER and the Dr. on call said it sounded like pneumonia and to bring her in. So at 10:00 am I took her in and she ended up with the CROUP. Went for follow up today and she is fine I just need to watch her.
And dose this look like a little guy that has major ear infection well guess what he dose in his left ear to the point that the DR could not see if he still has his tube in or not. And why did we get it when we are on antibiotic and has been for 2 weeks. Well he goes back for a follow up in 10 days. Mr. Milky is not out of the woods he goes to the Dr. Thurs. night cause he might be a diabetic I have been testing him for the last 2 weeks numbers do not look good.

Day Camp

Well we had our first day camp for Boys Scouts Milky did not do too good with the BB guns but he did have fun.
Mr Smiley did really good with the bow and arrows he is ready to get his own he almost made a bulls eye.
Little Miss Pooh had to make sure she was in PINK so the boys knew she was a girl. It was a long day but she had fun, she even went with them to go and find bugs.

Proof

Well know I have proof that at least Mr Smiley knows how to vacuum. For what ever reason he thinks it is great fun so all the more power to him. And Pooh loves to cook and bake the other night she had a school pinic and she help make patote salad and I had the dressing made and one of my daycare partents came and I went to go help when I retured she had a cup of sugar in it. Good things I was able to get most of it out.

Big fat Goose egg

Well the boys went fishing with some bigger boys. Milky walked thur the door he said "well mom the only thing we caught was a big fat goose egg". I told Milky that was OK better luck next time. He said "NO, mom really we got a "BIG FAT GOOSE EGG", then he showed me the egg. The main thing is that they had fun.
Milky dropped the egg and it cracked so he is trying to type it.

What is a mother to do

WHAT IS A MOTHER TO DO??? I went outside to check on the twins and this is what I saw. Cans all over the back yard and they were using there bikes to crush them. (Milky is on the bike) They thought it was great fun. When I went back into the house little Miss Pooh was in the bathroom and was using the hair spray and fixing her hair she used a whole can of hair spray and her hair was as stiff as a board. The only thing I told the boys was you will have to pick up all the cans, it took them longer to pick them up then it did for them to crash them. And with Pooh I told her she was going to have to wash her hair twice tonight, and her reply was that is ok mommy I can do that. What one will not do the other one will it just is getting worse the older they get. I have a feeling it might be a longer summer it is a good thing that they are in Eagles for half a day, just think what might happen if they were home all day.

Catcher

Milky got to be catcher when he was done he told the coach that he never wanted to do that again, it was not fun having the balls coming at him like that. We have 8 games and two are out of town, Ewing and Chambers so that wont be bad. The next thing to do after ball will be swim lesson and they both have told me that they do not need them cause they can swim just fine.

Ball

Well Mr. Smiley is ready for that ball. He was able to stop a ground ball at 3rd base and he threw it to first base and the kid caught it. The parents in the stands were surprise that he was able to throw that far, he has always had a good throw.

Weedend at dad's

Well after spending the weekend at dad's this is what we look like. (6:30pm) Smiley and Pooh went Friday night and I took Milky over Saturday afternoon. Dad kept them busy the only thing the kids told me was that they went through the sprinkler at grandpa Maxwell's and they got to go shoot the gun. They get to go to dad's every other weekend.

Flags

Mr. Smiley is in the blue and Milky is in the brown they are looking for great grandpa Moore and grandpa McCain's flag at the O'Neill cemetery, they thought it was fun cause now they can read. It is a lot to take in trying to figure out who everybody is when you have ever meet them.

McCain Reunion

Well Sunday May 24th 2009 we had the big McCain reunion, we had 50+ people sign the guest book and grandma McCain (Leola) and the most family there. I took the kids to the cemetery and tried to explain to them about the family that is buried there in time the will understand.
